160 m2 for a complete renovation of a family home

Our clients practically bought a shell since the previous owner had already demolished most of the elements. This is thus a complete renovation. We first analyzed the needs and proposed a layout answering the challenging needs: 4 bedrooms in 160 m2.

Ground floors can often be dark in Brussels since streets are narrow. We decided to intervert the levels. The master bedroom takes place on the ground floor and the living room on the first floor. In this way the living room was not only bigger but received more light. 

On the second and third floor we placed a bathroom and 3 children bedrooms, each of them articulated on two levels and connected by a wooden ladder. This made it possible to use all the space in the attic, which did not have a sufficient surface and height to call it a room.

The kitchen is lacquered in an eucalyptus color and combined with a polished marinade verde stone. The island is realized on dimension in white powder coated metal and vintage glass. The credenza is made out of Equipe Ceramicas tiles and contrasts with the golden tap.

The bathroom is covered with green and rose zellige-like tiles.
