An apparent simplicity

Behind this result, an infinity of questions, problems and solutions. Up to the smallest detail, we have pushed the materials to express themselves in the most beautiful way possible.

In the living room, the white lacquered and sanded oak veneer plays the game of marquetry  in size XXL by orienting its grain at 45 degrees in different directions. The marble is reduced to a thickness of 6mm, laminated between two layers of glass to transform into a solid technical material letting light going trough.

The kitchen runners are made of bronze and highlight doors made of solid American walnut latti. The kitchen splashback is also backlit, made of translucent Corian. The light ceiling is made of stretched translucent canvas.

The library is also a projection room where the screen is integrated into the custom-made light boxes. A 120kg pivot door opens effortlessly and reveals a mini-bar. It also stores a collection of various spirits.
Upstairs the bathroom is hidden behind the dressing room, also subject of special research, covered with gray-tinted mirrors and inserts of vibrant colors.
The bathroom is designed in Teak and marble, with massive details for corners.

Project realized in collaboration with Tanguy de Clippele.
