Renovation of a 100 m2 appartement in Uccle, Brussels
The project is located in a building from the 30’s which underwent a major restructuring in 1965. From the start we decided that some elements would be kept and that the new design choices would magnify them.
The bathroom has been enlarged and completely renovated. Maxime De Campenaere Studio designed a box in clay plaster. The shower screen is designed on metal with black powder coating. The cabinet is covered with mirrors. The vintage sink comes from RotorDC.
A new connexion between dining room and kitchen was created. The wall paneling is made out of Mahogany and is combined with ceramic tiles and brushed green forest stone.
The whole apartment is covered with carpet in order to enhance the vintage atmosphere. The colors are foreseen to create a warm and sophisticated atmosphere.
