The interior design studio was hired to design the spaces of this new CLT building in the Netherlands.

The house, built by two couples, will house up to two families at times and will also be available for rent. The materials were chosen for their resistance and ease of maintenance.

Since the house is built of solid wood, the interior designers wanted to give wood pride of place by combining it with black wood (kitchen laminate), granite and concrete. The exterior vegetation and interior plants are echoed and energize the natural palette.

To highlight the architecture, the fireplace was designed as a bas-relief of constructivist inspiration. The mirrors in the bathrooms are also rounded to contrast and soften the surrounding straight and oblique lines.
